About us
We have heritage. Being of Kenyan, South African and British descent with over three quarters of a century of living and breathing exploration of the African continent and beyond.
We are experienced. Over the past 13 years have managed and guided in 7 different countries for the industry’s leading safari and beach operations, and, whilst we have not counted them all – have certainly visited and stayed at a couple of hundred more – and have organized countless safaris for private clients over the years.
We are a creative crew. Consisting of nature guides, luxury lodge managers, sommeliers, fashion designers, environmental scientists, divers and dog lovers!
We are in situ. Based between the foothills of Kenya’s Great Rift Valley, the warm waves of the Swahili Coast and the bustling metropolis of Nairobi, we live and breathe our destinations.
We travel. At least several months per year on recce trips around the world to the destinations we sell. This allows us to handpick and keep track of new, and favourite, properties, guides and experiences to ensure our high standards are constantly met.
We are not. Out there to compete with large booking sites and other mass market operators. Our highly tailored approach using our black book of contacts to create, off-shelf, unique journeys, mean we can only curate a limited number of trips per year. We take pride in taking our time to create utterly special explorations, every time.
